Every woman knows that eyeshadow is one of the most important types of make-up. If it’s applied properly, it will make your eyes and face more expressive and attractive. But if it’s applied the wrong way, it may distort your appearance.
If you want to know how to apply eyeshadow correctly, here’s some things to keep in mind.
First of all, pick out the eyeshadow colors that will enhance the color of your eyes. If you have blue eyes, consider gray, light blue, purple, black or silver colors. For hazel or green eyes, brown, purple, plum, khaki, gold and forest green colors may be stunning. Apply bronze, khaki-green, copper, soft pink, brown, beige, tangerine for brown eyes.
Your next step should be applying a light touch of foundation or concealer to your lids in order to make the skin tone even. I advise you to apply mascara before the eyeshadow. If you do so, it won’t mess up your eyeshadow by leaving tiny dots on it.
If you want to apply three eyeshadow colors, first take the lightest color and apply it from your eye lashes to your eyebrows. The second lightest color should be applied to your eye lid. Next apply the darkest color from the outside edge to the middle of the eye lid. All these colors should be blended, so that the eyeshadow looks smooth. Make sure that the eye shadow does not extend beyond the eyebrow. You might as well apply a little shadow beneath the eyes to create a glamorous look.
