How to Apply False Lashes

Tips for applying false lashes

We'll argue that false lashes and the WonderBra are the best inventions to ever rock a woman's world. Fake lashes go to extreme lengths to make your eyes look flirtier and fluttier than ever. Here's how to apply false lashes to natural effect. Before applying false lashes, hold them up to your eyes without applying glue to see what they will look like. If they appear too long you can always trim them with scissors (which is safer than snipping them after they're on your eyes). To put them on properly, keep a steady hand and apply a thin layer of eyelash glue to the base (or "band") of the lashes with extra glue on the edges since they are often the first part to come loose. Blow on the lash glue for a few seconds to give false lashes better hold and put them on as close to the lashline as possible, using a pair of tweezers for precision applicaiton. Hold them down with the end of the tweezers while waiting for them to dry and try not to blink until they are set. Finish with liquid eyelinerr to blend the band with your natural lashes.
