There are various recipes of homemade face masks for specific skin types. There are also facial masks that will be suitable for almost any skin type.

  • Apricot and milk mask. This mask is good for moisturizing your face. You’ll need 1/2 cup of dried and chopped apricots, 1/2 cup of warm water, 1 tablespoon dry milk powder or powdered cream and one tablespoon honey. Blend the ingredients and apply the mixture on your face. Leave the mask for about 20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.
  • Avocado facial mask. To make an avocado face mask you need to mash an avocado with a fork, add a touch of olive oil and apply it to your face. Wash the mask with cool water after 15-20 minutes. This avocado mask will provide your skin with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, leaving it soft.
  • Egg yolk and honey facial mask. For this mask you’ll need one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon whole milk or cream. Blend them together well and apply on your face. Rinse it off with warm water after 20 minutes. This is used mostly for dry skin.
  • Cucumber and yogurt facial mask. This mask is good for restoring your skin. You’ll need 1/2 cucumber and one tablespoon yogurt. Peel the cucumber and blend it with yogurt. Add a teaspoon of instant, non-fat dry milk into this mixture and the mask is ready. Leave the mask on the face for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Banana oatmeal mask. This mask is good for getting rid of dead skin. Mix an egg white with a crushed banana, add two tablespoons of oats and two teaspoons of honey. After leaving it on your face for 15 minutes, wash it off with warm water.
