Permanent Hair Removal

It is natural to grow hair rapidly. That is why the laser clinic treatments and the so called “permanent” hair removal methods are nothing but fake consolations.
Once you will understand how hair grows and what cycle do they follow, you would be better able to understand this thing. Without your proper attention, the hair will grow back again. So, for this there are three main factors to understand hair and hair growth. First are the types of hair, the hair growth cycle, and follicle activation. And mostly people have three types of hair, colourless hair, which often referred to as peach fuzz. Intermediate hair which are of normal or lower level of pigmentation. And then there are terminal hair, which are fully pigmented or gray. These are the type of hair most people want to get rid of.

All of these types of hair have three-stage growth cycle. The first of the phases is the active growing phase. The hair growth rate is somewhere between 10% and 90% depending on the area of the body. The second phase is of catagen which is a transitional phase and it is the shortest of the three phases. The third stage is called the telogen which is the inactive phase, which is the longest phase lasting until the hair are shed. Then the cycle repeats itself, which takes up a year.

The final thing to consider is the follicle activation. Our skin is covered with innumerable follicles, many of which are dormant, but not extinct. Even though these follicles are not producing hair, but they can be activated any moment, because of catalytic hormones. The people think that the word permanent is not to be taken seriously in the phrase permanent hair removal. Though this could be done that a particular hair follicle will be made incapable of generating new hair. But since follicles are so large in number, you can not remove the hair permanently.

Waxing is not permanent either, but at least it works. It has been there for centuries, and it is better to have a temporary hair removal then the risky permanent ones.
