Smooth Legs Today, and Tomorrow

Shaving is an important ritual for women and an essential routine for grooming and maintaining a feminine look. The idea of smooth silky legs are sexy and in demand from our male counterparts.

I do not mean to boast or brag, but I am one of the many few women out there that shaves my legs only once a month. The hair on my legs are very fine and sparse, so shaving on the weekly is not necessary. When I do shave, I choose the most effective razor to keep hairs from coming back quickly. Razors are available in various styles, from triple blades to vibrating blades for easy hair removal. It is best to invest in a good razor that will prevent hairs from growing back. Try out a men’s razor like the Gillette Fusion Power Razor that micro-pulses for a close shave.

Also, using a shaving gel will help the shaving process be fast and smooth, preventing nicks and cuts from happening. Ideally, we should shave after a warm bath or shower, the water opens up hair follicles and softens the skin. This helps in getting a clean close shave for effective hair removal. Do not shave with dry skin, it will cause cuts and rashes if there is no lubrication used (water alone is also good but not as effective as shaving gel).

Shave in an upward motion against the hair growth, and repeat strokes with a light application. Be careful when shaving over uneven parts of the leg. Remember to rinse off excess hair and take a final look at your legs. Repeat if necessary. Although I may be blessed with minimal hair on my legs, they sure are short in length. But we can’t have it all… right ladies?
